Debt Free Education Initiative

Thanks to our recent Community Partnership Grant award, a limited number of scholarships are now available, through the Beauty Access Fund, for eligible students pursuing careers in Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology.

What the Scholarship Covers:

Full tuition

Program materials

State board exam fees

License application fees

 

This is a unique opportunity to receive a debt-free beauty education and a direct pathway to employment through our salon partnership program.

 

Scholarship Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a resident of Prince George's County, MD

  • Be at least 16 years old

  • Demonstrate financial need

  • Submit your (or your parent/guardian's) 2024 Tax Return

  • Follow us on social media platforms @miaabeautyinstitute (Instagram and TikTok)

  • Commit to 100% attendance

  • Maintain a minimum 80% GPA

  • Successfully pass the state board exam

 

Scholarships may be rescinded if a student fails to meet these standards.

Commitment Expectations

As a scholarship recipient, you must uphold the rules and professionalism required of all MIAA Beauty Institute students. This includes:

  • Adhering to all school policies and procedures

  • Demonstrating professionalism and respect

  • Meeting academic and attendance standards

  • Only selected applicants will be contacted

  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and while funds last, so apply early
